Daniel C. Hennigan, Board Member, Celebrate Freedom Foundation

Daniel C. Hennigan is a board member of the Celebrate Freedom Foundation. 

He has more than 35 years of professional global military and automotive manufacturing corporate experience. In the military, he held global leadership and combat positions as a unit commander, provost marshall, operations officer, personnel officer and platoon Leader.

In the corporate world, Hennigan held global executive management positions in sales, marketing, new business development, application engineering and program ranagement with TRW, Siemens AG Joint Venture, Paramedic Technology Corporation (PTC). He also helped launch two technology companies. 

Hennigan, who retired from the U.S. Army and TRW, is program chairman for the Lexington Rotary Club, an Honorary S.C. Lexington County Deputy Sheriff, a member of the Sheriffs Advisory Council; a board member of Honor Flight, Boy Scouts of America and USO. He is also the founder of The S.C. Remembers 9/11 Student Essay Contest with the Fire Department of New York City and The First Responders Remembrance Memorial, constructed in Columbia in 2011. On Nov. 11, 2010, Hennigan received the World Trade Center Artifacts Memorial Programs Above and Beyond Award in New York City.

He received his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from MSU in 1974 and graduate degree in Business from CMU in 1979.
